The federal deputy (Republicans-PB) was elected president of the House of Representatives on Saturday (1st.Fev.2025) with 444 votes. With this, it became 2nd most voted president of the house since redemocratization.
The 35-year-old deputy of Paraíba was 20 votes to match his predecessor, Arthur Lira (PP-AL). Alagoas was elected in 2023 with 464 votes.
