President Luiz Inácio da Silva called the new president of, (-PB), this Sunday to wish the task, which he will perform for the next two years, said the leader of the government in the House, Deputy José Guimarães (PT -Ce).
Hugo was in a session held this Saturday. Lula called the congressman shortly after the release of the result to congratulate him, but he did not answer because he spoke on the spot. The conversation only took place this Sunday.
The new mayor also received a call from former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who supported him in the dispute. The two talked by cell phone quickly.
It is expected that Lula and Hugo on Monday, before the opening session of the legislative year in the afternoon. Lula should also meet the same day with Senate President David Alcolumbre (Union-AP).
After the session, the new mayor scheduled the first meeting with party leaders at 5:30 pm to discuss the project agenda that will be voted this week.
