Vienna – After a collision with a tram on line 5 in Vienna-Alsergrund on Wednesday at lunchtime, a cyclist’s life is in danger. The 28-year-old probably first drove parallel to the tracks on Spitalgasse near Michelbeuerngasse a little ahead of the train and then turned left and finally crossed the path of the Bim. The tram driver applied the emergency brake, but was no longer able to avoid a collision, the Wiener Linien reported.
