Trento – The Northern Italian Trentino wants to counteract the population decline in small communities. The province of Trento offers financial incentives for buying a house and the renovation of old buildings in 33 municipalities that have recorded a strong decline in population in the past ten years, reports the Milan daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
