London (Reuters) – British Princess Kate, who is recovering from the preventive cancer treatment she underwent this year, will take part in two events this weekend to commemorate Remembrance Day in London, Buckingham Palace said on Wednesday. Friday (8).
The Princess of Wales, 42, said in September that she had finished her preventive chemotherapy treatment, but warned that her road to full recovery will be long and that her focus is on remaining cancer-free.
At the time, she said she would participate in some public engagements at the end of the year. Her last public appearance was last month, when she met the grieving families of three girls who were murdered at a dance class in Southport, northwest England.

Buckingham Palace said Kate, her husband Prince William and King Charles are among the royals who will take part in Remembrance Day events on Saturday and Sunday.
The main Remembrance Day ceremony, at the Cenotaph war memorial in central London, is held on the Sunday closest to 11 November to mark the end of the First World War and pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the conflict.
The palace said Queen Camilla’s participation in the event was subject to closer medical advice after she suffered a chest infection.
