‘Giannis is a child’, says Jaylen Brown about fake handshake

Tempers were agitated in the NBA after the Celtics’ victory over the Milwaukee Bucks last Sunday (10), when Giannis Antetokounmpo faked a handshake with Jaylen Brown. The Celtics winger didn’t take it lightly, and stated that his opponent “is a child” in post-game interviews.

In the dispute on the court, the Celtics won the comeback game by 113 to 107 points, 14 of which were scored by Brown. On the other side, Antetokounmpo scored 43 points, but it wasn’t enough to lead his team to victory.

In interviews, Jaylen was uncomfortable with the fake handshake: “Giannis is a child. I’m just focused on helping my team win and that’s what we did today.”

Antetokounmpo, in turn, stated that the squeeze was a game he plays with his children, with the intention of having fun. “We always joke during the game. It’s something I do with my children, I play. It’s who I am. I play the game with fun and joy”, he commented.
