The Municipality of Faro approved this Monday, in a council meeting, the launch of a competition for the urban requalification of the Ribeirinho Neighborhood in Faro.
“The project will have a base value of 2,771,541.63 euros, plus VAT, and an execution period of 730 days”, informs in a statement.
The in-depth intervention will focus on an expanded area that comprises “the streets Conselheiro Bívar, do Prior, Capitão-Mor, do Compromisso, de São Pedro, da Madalena, Baptista Pinto, Teófilo Braga, Gil Eanes, do Forno, da Barqueta da Cruz and partially Infante D. Henrique, Travesdas da Madalena, José Coelho, de S. Pedro, dos Arcos, da Passagem e da Alfândega and Largo da Madalena”.
The requalification of the outdoor spaces of this historic neighborhood in the city of Faro aims to “improve the conditions of enjoyment and urban and collective living, as well as the relationship between this area and its surroundings, promoting the attractiveness and multifunctionality of public spaces and their historical appreciation , heritage and cultural”.
