The country registered 62.20 million active formal employment contracts in February – an increase of 2.17 million compared to the same month in 2025. The data are from the RAIS (Annual Monthly Social Information List) and were released this Wednesday (June 24, 2026) by the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

In February 2026, there were 47.97 million CLT employees and 13.82 million public agent jobs (statutory employees and people hired on a fixed-term contract or in an exclusive commission position). RAIS data includes total formal employment, CLT employees and public agents.
