– Episode of the 15 Minutos podcast talks about the idea of reducing the 6×1 working day and the intense debate on the topic
*) No other subject is talked about on social media. I’m sure you’ve already seen someone commenting on the PEC idea to reduce the 6×1 working day.
It is important to say that, in the official aspect, the discussion is still very early. The text has not yet been filed with the Chamber.
What is known so far: authored by congresswoman Erika Hilton (Psol-SP), the proposal envisages reducing the maximum working hours to 36 hours per week, 4 days a week. Thus, instead of the system called 6×1, which establishes one day off for every six worked, the 4×3 working day would come into force, with four days worked and three days off.
There are different views on the topic. One shows that there may be a certain trap for companies and workers.
