Silverstone-Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen has surprisingly put his Red Bull in Silverstone in the pole position. The Dutch drove the best time in 1: 24.892 minutes on Saturday, he was a tenth of a second faster than World Cup leader Oscar Piatri in the McLaren. Lando Norris was 0.118 seconds over the best time in the second McLaren. Silverstone record winner Lewis Hamilton was fifth in Ferrari behind Mercedes-Pilot George Russell.
