The Civil Police requested the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes that former president Jair Bolsonaro be summoned to participate in a video conference hearing in which he clarifies the situation regarding the weapon that was seized in the former president’s name.
The weapon was in the possession of a soldier from the Institutional Security Office (GSI), who was driving the vehicle at the time of the approach. The information was initially released by the Metrópoles portal and confirmed by Jovem Pan.
In the document sent to Moraes, the PC wrote that the hearing should take place on June 24, at 3 pm. The corporation also reported that it tried to subpoena Bolsonaro personally, but that the action was unsuccessful. “It is clarified that the attempt to comply with the personal summons was unsuccessful, as the responsible escort team did not allow the act to be carried out, making it impossible for the summoned person to be personally informed”, he explained.
