Regional Court in Brno in the summer sentenced a teenage girl to two years in prison for approving last year’s shooting at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University (FF UK) in Prague and for preparing the murder of her female classmates. Due to her age, the trial was closed to the public. The verdict is known only from Monday; they published it the day before the next trial, which will be held this time before the Supreme Court of Appeal in Olomouc. Based on reports from the Novinky.cz and iDNES.cz servers, the TASR reporter in Prague informs.
According to the spokesperson of the High Court in Olomouc, Stanislav Cik the girl was first investigated by criminal investigators because of the approval of the massacre at the FF UK. The suspicion of the preparation of the double murder of female classmates only came to light later during the investigation.
The regional court issued its verdict on August 12, but it was not made public. The girl was convicted of premeditated or premeditated murder, on two or more people and at the same time on a child under 15 years old.
