Picking up the pieces after another defeat in the Brasileirão – the third in a row -, Bahia returned to training. This Tuesday morning (12), the Squadron carried out its first activity with an eye on the match against Palmeiras. The duel will take place on November 20th, at 6pm, at Fonte Nova.
The day at CT Evaristo de Macedo began with physical training on the field. Afterwards, Rogério Ceni divided the group into two teams and carried out technical training focusing on exchanging passes.
Recovering from a back injury, striker Biel did a special job. Midfielder Rezende carried out physical transition activities. Another injured player, left-back Iago Borduchi, was undergoing treatment.
In addition to the trio, the Squadron’s training was missed by full-back Arias and striker Luciano Rodríguez. They were called up by Colombia and Uruguay, respectively, for the World Cup qualifying games.
Luciano Rodríguez has a chance to face Palmeiras, as he will be at Fonte Nova the day before the clash, on Tuesday (19), in the duel between Brazil and Uruguay.
Arias could miss the game against Alviverde. The right-back will be on duty for Colombia on November 19th, against Ecuador, in Barranquilla, and is currently suspended for four games by the STJD. The decision can be appealed.
