The Brazilian team athletes who will compete in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Uruguay already have their numbers defined by the CBF. The biggest changes are in the 9 and 10 shirts, which will change hands in this Thursday’s game (14).
Previously, the number 10 shirt belonged to Rodrygo, Real Madrid striker, who is away from the national team due to a muscle injury suffered in the game against Osasuna in La Liga. With that, 10 passed to Raphinha, Barcelona star.
The number 9 shirt, which belonged to Endrick, will pass to Igor Jesus, from Botafogo. The Real Madrid athlete was not called up by Dorival Júnior, leaving his number vacant.
The numbers are valid not only for tomorrow’s game, but also for next Tuesday (19), at 9:45 pm against Uruguay at Arena Fonte Nova. Currently, Brazil occupies 4th place in the qualifying table, with 16 points.
