The Federal Supreme Court (STF) will resume this Friday (15) the habeas corpus trial carried out by the defense of former player Robinho, whowho is imprisoned in Tremembé Penitentiary II, in the interior of São Paulo, where he is serving a sentence for rape.
The analysis of the request for freedom had been suspended in September, after minister Gilmar Mendes requested a review. So far, Rapporteur Minister Luiz Fux has voted against the request and Minister Edson Fachin has followed him.

As Brazilian legislation does not allow the extradition of born citizens to serve sentences in other countries, the STJ decided to arrest Robinho here in Brazil to serve the sentence.
