An individual kidnaps at least three people in a restaurant near Paris

An individual is found entrenched in a restaurant on the outskirts of Paris and has been holding at least three people hostage for two hours, as security sources have confirmed to the BFMTV network.

The incident is occurring at the ‘L’Olivier’ restaurant, in the commune of Issy-les-Moulineaux, on the outskirts of the French capital. The establishment, according to these sources, would be owned by the kidnapper’s father.

The kidnapper, armed with a knife, is negotiating now with the security forces.
