In the first, Mario Barrios and Abel Ramos promoted a historic fight, with fierce exchanges, and the referees ruled a draw. With that, Barrios kept the unified welterweight belt.
Then, in a historic rematch of the fight from two years ago, Irish Katie Taylor and Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano returned to star in an epic battle, once again won by Taylor, by unanimous decision.
Thus, Taylor continued as unified women’s super lightweight champion, despite being booed by the fans present at the stadium, who saw the advantage of the Puerto Rican.
At the opening of the main card, the Brazilian comedian in his first big fight as a professional boxer.
