Delicious, juicy minced meat on the outside, and creamy, chewy mozzarella on the insidewhich introduces a surprising accent. Preparing the dish is very simple, and the effect will surely please everyone in the household. These meatballs will be perfect for a family dinner or as a party snack.
Ingredients:
- 400 g of a mixture of ground beef or poultry and pork,
- 250 g sera mozzarella,
- 3-4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs,
- 150 ml of milk,
- egg white,
- shallot onion,
- a teaspoon of mustard,
- a teaspoon of dried marjoram,
- salt and black pepper to taste,
- 1-2 tablespoons of wheat flour.
How to do it:
Pour the breadcrumbs into a bowl and pour in the milk. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Place the minced meat in a large bowl, add breadcrumbs squeezed from the milk, onion grated on a fine grater, add mustard, dried marjoram, season with salt and black pepper. Mix the mixture well. Then, in a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, then add the fluffy foam to the meat mass and mix thoroughly. Cut the mozzarella into cubes.
Take a portion of the meat mixture with a spoon, flatten it in your hand, place a cube of mozzarella inside and hide the cheese so that it is completely covered with meat. Form neat balls and roll them in flour (shake off the excess).
Place the meatballs on a baking tray lined with baking paper or in an oven-proof dish and put the tray in the oven preheated to 180°C for about 30 minutes. Halfway through the baking time, turn the meat balls over so that they bake nicely and evenly. Serve ready minced mozzarella hot as part of a dinner dish or as a warm snack served with pickles or a salad of fresh vegetables.
