Tasty dishes don’t have to cost a fortune, contain fancy ingredients, or take up a lot of time in the kitchen. Mushroom casseroles they are extremely simple and quick to prepare, making them perfect for busy and busy people. You can prepare casseroles from: fresh wild mushrooms or champignons. Before putting them on casseroles, fry them in a pan. Therefore, you can also use thawed mushrooms or previously soaked dried mushrooms.
Ingredients:
- 6 slices of country bread,
- 200 g fresh champignons or other mushrooms,
- 50 g of good quality grated yellow cheese,
- 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese,
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 2 tablespoons of butter,
- ½ teaspoon of nutmeg,
- ½ teaspoon of white pepper,
- ½ teaspoon of salt.
Additionally:
Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices. Add them to the pan and fry for a few minutes. Season the mushrooms with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Continue frying for another 2 minutes until the mushrooms release their water. Set aside.
Place the bread slices on a baking tray lined with paper. Brush them with a little olive oil. Place the mushrooms on top and then sprinkle the croutons with both types of cheese. Place the bread slices under the grill for about 3 minutes until the cheese melts nicely.
Serve the mushroom casserole warm, sprinkled with chopped parsley. Casseroles are not intended to be reheated, so prepare a portion for one meal. However, if you must, use a microwave, which will soften the bread for a short time.
