The fair near Charlottenburg Palace is considered one of the most romantic in Germany. The baroque building is beautifully illuminated, as are the trees and wooden stalls. This fair will surely delight parents with children: two free carousels await young passengers. In heated tents, hungry visitors to the Christmas market can find snacks, as well as full-sized meals that will satisfy even greater hunger. The event starts on November 25 and will last until December 29. The fair can be visited from Monday to Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and from Friday to Sunday from 12:00 to 10:00 p.m. The fair will be closed on Christmas Eve. Admission is free.

One of the most beautiful and popular is the market on Gendarmenmarkt square. However, just like last year, in 2024, the event was moved (due to renovation) to the nearby Bebelplatz. Between the State Opera, the Faculty of Law of the Humboldt University, the Cathedral of St. Jadwiga and Hotel de Rome. In the middle of the square there was a huge Christmas tree, surrounded by houses with characteristic white tops. We will try local delicacies here, and we will also have the opportunity to listen to concerts and see theater performances. It is also a great place to buy handicrafts – artists from all over the world come here with their works. There is an entrance fee, but it only costs 2 euros. Children up to 12 years of age enter free of charge. You can also enter for free every day (except holidays), but from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The fair starts on November 25 and will last until December 31, 2024. Every year, a huge Christmas market takes place in the old town of Spandau, with a program as colorful as the richly decorated Christmas tree. Handicraft stalls and delicacies from around the world accompanied by the sounds of Christmas songs fit perfectly into the background of the old town. The Spandau Christmas market starts on November 25 and will last until December 22, 2024. From Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 20:00, on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 to 22:00. Admission is free.

On November 1, Potsdamer Platz turned into a Winter Land. It will disappear only on January 1, 2025. Unlike traditional Christmas markets, fun in the snow plays a special role here. In addition, there are about fifty other cottages on site that offer Christmas treats and crafts. The traditional giant tower on Alexanderplatz is one of the best viewpoints in festive Berlin. On weekends, with a cup of mulled wine, you can watch the trumpeters changing places under the rotating figures.
