One of the greatest basketball stars of all time announced this Wednesday (20) that he will take a break from social media.
The Los Angeles Lakers player decided to step away from social media after sharing a post by American businessman Rich Kleiman about how sports coverage is often motivated by criticism and negative points of view.
In the post shared by LeBron on X, Kleiman comments that sports coverage could be a way to seek change and escape negativity.

After sharing, the player posted: “And with all that said, I’m going to say goodbye to you! I’m leaving social media for a while. Take care of yourselves” (in free translation).
It wasn’t LeBron James’ first complaint this week, before leaving social media.
The player had complained, earlier in the week, that “everyone on the internet called me a liar” when praising the performance of his teammate, rookie Dalton Knecht, according to CNN.

Knecht scored a career-high 37 points in the Lakers’ 124-118 victory over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday, tying the NBA rookie record of nine three-pointers made in a single game.
