New York – The announcement of the sentence in the hush money case against US President-elect Donald Trump has been postponed indefinitely. New York judge Juan Merchan announced on Friday that the date for the announcement originally scheduled for November 26th would not be maintained. Trump was convicted in May of falsifying business documents to cover up payments to a porn actress, but the sentence was still pending. (APA, November 22, 2024)
