This quick salad for guests is light, crunchy and refreshing. It is perfect as a dinner addition, but also as a stand-alone dish – for example as an appetizer or snack. It has a very delicate taste, with a hint of characteristic spiciness coming from the parsley root. The whole thing is combined with mayonnaise and yogurt sauce.
You can prepare the salad in less than 10 minutesand using a robot to chop cabbage, probably even less. Thanks to this, it will be an ideal addition for busy or busy people, but also when you have unexpected guests or you simply run out of salad for dinner.
Ingredients:
- a small head of green cabbage,
- medium parsley root,
- 2 green onions,
- can of corn 200 g,
- a handful of dill.
Dressing:
- 100g majonezu,
- 50 g of natural yogurt,
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
How to do it:
Prepare the vegetables. Finely chop the cabbage and place it in a salad bowl. Peel and grate the parsley root and chop the onion finely. Drain the corn from the brine and add it to the rest of the ingredients. Sprinkle everything with dill. Mix all ingredients beforehand.
Prepare the dressing. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients for the sauce.
Pour the prepared dressing over the salad and mix everything well with a spoon or your hand. Put the quick salad for guests in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors combine (you can serve it immediately, but it will be better after biting). Store leftovers in an airtight container.
