Ukrainian researchers study the wreckage of Russia’s new intermediate-range ballistic missile “Oreshnik” that was launched against the city of Dnipro last Thursday, and it was the first time that such a powerful weapon was used. In fact, today (24/11) a group of journalists was given access to the wreckage with the Reuters agency also publishing photos.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that his country will continue testing the Oreshnik hypersonic missile and begin mass production of the new system. Putin even noted that the missile is impossible to intercept.

“I will add that there is no countermeasure to such a missile, no means of intercepting it, in the world today. And we will emphasize once again that we will continue to test it. It is necessary to start mass production” he said characteristically.
