More than 40,000 people are fleeing gang violence in Haiti

Port-au-Prince – According to the United Nations, more than 40,000 people fled their homes in the capital Port-au-Prince within ten days due to escalated gang violence in the Caribbean state of Haiti. Between November 11th and 20th, a total of 40,965 people were on the run in Port-au-Prince, some for the second or third time, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Monday.
