According to the coalition council, the basis for negotiations on any form of participation of the three deputies around Rudolf Huliak (unclassified) in government power is the return of these deputies to the parliamentary club of the Slovak National Party. At its Monday meeting, the Council concluded that the coalition has the majority in parliament, which is necessary for the approval of draft laws or personnel proposals. TASR was informed about this on Monday by the press and information department of the Government Office (ÚV) of the Slovak Republic.
“Detailed information about the joint procedure of the government coalition at the next meeting of the National Council of the Slovak Republic and the agreed decisions will be provided immediately after the end of the coalition council to the aforementioned MPs who show interest in participating in the implementation of the program statement of the Government of the Slovak Republic.” the government office said.
According to the office, any procedure other than within the existing political structure may raise suspicion of criminal liability. At the same time, the coalition council advised MPs from the government parties not to vote for the opposition proposal to remove Huliak from the position of chairman of the parliamentary committee for agriculture and the environment.
At the same time, the government coalition agreed at the coalition council on a joint course of action during the next session of the parliament, which begins on Tuesday (November 26). The coalition also announces a joint procedure when negotiating the draft state budget or when proposing the dismissal of Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Voice-SD).
