Center forward Yuri Alberto, Corinthians’ top scorer this season (with 27 goals), did not return for the second half of the match between Corinthians and Cruzeiro, on the 20th of this month, at the Neo Química Arena. The player was replaced by Talles Magno.
Does Yuri Alberto play against Criciúma?
Although it is not yet certain, Yuri Alberto may be close to returning. This is because the player is progressing in his treatment. This Wednesday (27/11), the physical transition process began, but he still does not train with the rest of the squad.
Alongside Yuri were midfielder Maycon, who is in the recovery process after knee surgery and will only return to the field in 2025, and defender Félix Torres, who suffered a thigh injury while playing for the Ecuador national team.
However, if Yuri improves in the next few days, there is a possibility that the player will return to the field.
