Councilman Dheison Silva (PT) charged justifications to the foundation, in a letter sent on Thursday (18).
Sustenidos has a contract with the mayor’s management () to manage the theater. Organization official, Guida shared Instagram post that said that trumpker influencer Charles Kirk was “Nazi.”
In his office, Dheison asks whether the Foundation understands that dismissal can hurt freedom of expression and manifestation of thought.
The councilman also asks if the resignation request configures external interference with the administrative autonomy of Sustenidos. “Determining the dismissal of a service provider by an opinion issued on the private network would be inadmissible,” says Dheison
“It is from the mouth out the defense that the right has made of freedom of expression. The freedom they preach is to foster an insurrection against democracy and disseminate hatred, but do not admit any kind of criticism,” adds the councilman.
Guida became the target of right-wing politicians, such as the federal deputy (PL-MG).
Despite the foundation’s request last Friday, the social organization maintains the employee in its staff.
Given this, Sustenidos won the bid in 2023 and has a contract with the foundation until May 2026.
