There are 36 teams in contention and eight places lead directly to the round of 16. The teams that finish from 9th to 24th will go to a playoff.

Which teams go to the round of 16?
The 36 clubs are in direct competition. The eight best placed among the 36 will get a direct place in the round of 16, which will not have a modified format. Clubs that place between 9th and 24th go to a playoff, also with round-trip games.
Teams from 9th to 16th will face, having the advantage of deciding at home, opponents from 17th to 24th, with duels defined by draw. Whoever passes the playoff goes to the round of 16. The rest will be eliminated.
