On Paulista Avenue this Sunday (22), former state deputy Douglas Garcia (União Brasil) states that he will continue with his videos in search of engagement on social networks as a tactic for his campaign in 2026.

“As always, I went to do an interview and show how these left people fall in disagreement. But a militant got nervous, gave me a beer bath and caught the attention of everyone,” says Garcia, who released videos in which she is beaten.
He then sought help from the Metropolitan Civil Guard, who used two vehicles to remove it from the site. The cars crossed the crowd, generating tension.
Guard officers also used pepper spray to disperse those who tried to approach their pockets.
The posture irritated authorities from the municipality, who considered the attitude of the irresponsible and provocative scholarship, narrowly not leading to violence.
Garcia, who failed to elect federal deputy in 2022, will try to return to the São Paulo Legislative Assembly (Alesp) in next year’s election. Although he recognizes that his behavior is dangerous, he promises to continue doing such acts in search of projection.
