Ukraine denounces another “massive attack” by Russia with ‘Kalibr’ cruise missiles from the Black Sea
Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko denounced this Thursday that Russia is launching a new “massive attack” against the country’s energy system, and has announced that the national electricity company, Ukrenergo, has ordered emergency electricity cuts to reduce damage in their infrastructure in the event of impacts.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, several groups of Russian missiles were directed during the early hours of the morning against different regions of northern, central and southern Ukraine. Ukrainian media claim that Russia has also used drones in the attack.
The mayor of the northeastern city of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, reported on his social networks that the city was attacked with several missiles during the early hours of Thursday. Explosions have also occurred in the Volhynia region of northwestern Ukraine, regional authorities have reported.
