Nela Pocisková played Nikola – a young mother who suffers from purpura and her very strong story spanned several episodes. However, Nicole’s condition worsens, and in the 14th episode, the actress was expected to have extremely challenging and touching scenes. The make-up artists had to adapt her appearance to her serial illness and covered her body with bloody bruises.
Nela had great respect for her role in Second Chance. “I know the second chance from the beginning. I’m a big fan of hospital series in general, I love watching all the stories and I enjoy playing them even more,” Nela Pocisková said with a smile. “I was very pleased that the creators approached me and I have to say that I had a lot of respect for how I could handle this character, because she is very strong. But there was a great team from the director, to the crew, to my fellow actors, so I didn’t feel for a second that I was being left behind“, the actress described the filming of the series.
