Atlético-MG will compete this Saturday (11/30), against Botafogo, for the title of the 2024 edition of the Copa Libertadores da América. If they win, it will be the tournament’s second trophy in its history. And who could be the coach of this achievement is the Argentine Gabriel Milito, 44 years old.

Which clubs did Gabriel Milito coach?
Gabriel Milito began his coaching career at Estudiantes, in Argentina, in 2015. After his time there, he went to Independiente, but spent a short time with the Argentine team until going to O’Higgins, in Chile, in 2017. He returned to Estudiantes in 2018, staying until the 2020 season.
That same season, he arrived at Argentinos Juniors, where he did his most notable work to date. There, he reached the round of 16 of the 2023 Libertadores, but was eliminated by Fluminense. He resigned a few days after leaving.
He was hired by Atlético-MG in March this year and won the Campeonato Mineiro, his first career title.
