Verstappen sixth in Qatar sprint qualification, Norris on pole

Lusail – Five days after being crowned Formula 1 World Champion again, Max Verstappen took it easy in Qatar. In qualifying for the sprint that took place on Saturday, the Dutchman took sixth place in the Red Bull. Lando Norris set the fastest time in the McLaren on Friday on the fast course in Lusail, followed by George Russell in the Mercedes and Oscar Piastri, who was victorious in the sprint in the Emirate last year, in the second McLaren.
