Which dirt throwers pollute the global climate? You should also look at the water: According to the German Federal Environment Agency, international shipping currently contributes around 2.6 percent of global CO2 emissions. How these emissions can be significantly reduced has been a concern for researchers around the world for many years. Research into this is also being carried out in Austria, more precisely at the Large Engines Competence Center (LEC) in Graz. As a beacon of hope for more climate-friendly shipping traffic, one fuel, or rather a fuel storage device, is attracting particular attention: ammonia.
