He is one of the famous people portrayed in the Senna series, the first fictional production about the driver’s life. The Netflix plot follows, among other moments in the athlete’s life, the strong bond of friendship between them, who had a 10-year age difference at the time.
For those who don’t know, Galvão and Senna were in fact friends in real life, and the veteran has already stated that the driver was his younger brother, to whom he gave advice about life and career.

Their first meeting was on May 8, 1982, after the driver competed in a race in the Formula Ford 2000 category, in Belgium. The athlete was 22 years old and Galvão was 32.
In the book, Bueno tells how his first meeting with the pilot was. “Are you Mr. Galvão?” asked Senna. “I am,” replied the narrator.
“I’m going to reach Formula 1, and you’re going to broadcast a lot of my racing,” the driver promised.
Galvão was responsible for narrating Senna’s first victory, in 1985, in Portugal, and the race that caused the driver’s death, at the San Marino Grand Prix, in Ímola, Italy.
