Two potentially dangerous asteroids, 447755 (2007 JX2) and (2020 XR), will pass by Earth on December 3 and 4.
This was announced by Oxu.Az with reference to Newsweek.
The size of the celestial bodies is comparable to the Empire State Building – a skyscraper with 102 floors and a height of 443.2 meters, located on the island of Manhattan in New York.
According to preliminary information, asteroid 2007 JX2 has a size of 402.3 meters, while 2020 XR is 387.7 meters. The first will pass at a distance of 5.5 million kilometers from Earth, and the second will pass at a distance of 2.2 million kilometers.
