Bahian 4×4 Rally Championship has a decision this Sunday (8)

The 2024 Bahian 4×4 Rally Championship reaches its grand final this Sunday (8). The event takes place in the parking lot of Parque Shopping Bahia, in Lauro de Freitas and will start at 11am, ending at 3pm.

The competition, which is the biggest rally event – an automobile contest with intact or modified vehicles in open spaces – in Bahia, will have its champions defined in the production, super production and prototype categories.

The race will feature a double round, corresponding to the 9th and 10th stages of the championship. The event brings together competitors from different age groups, between 18 and 70 years old, both men and women. Throughout the stages, around 25 vehicles and 50 drivers plus navigators formed the average grid for the season.

The program begins with the technical briefing at 10:30 am. The starts of the 9th and 10th stages take place, respectively, at 11am and 1pm, while the awards ceremony will be held at the end, around 3pm.

The championship has ten stages in total and each one has its own score. In the end, whoever scores the most points will be the champion of their category. For the public, entry is by registering on the shopping app and delivering 2 kg of non-perishable food, which will be used for social actions.

The competition takes place with the support of the Secretariat of Labor, Employment, Income and Sports of Bahia (Setre) and the Superintendence of Sports of the State of Bahia (Sudesb), through the FazAtleta program.
