He has , , as a candidate in the 2026 election. The priority idea is to work on his name for one of the two vacancies in São Paulo.
Another possibility is to launch him again for , as already happened in 2022, when he was one of the party’s most voted.
“Boulos is a strong leader. In an election that promises to be as fierce as next year, it is certain that he will have an important role, whether in the race for the Senate in São Paulo or in the election for the Federal Chamber”, says the national president of PSOL.
If he decides to run in the election, he will have to leave office by the beginning of April 2026, therefore spending around six months in government. The decision will still depend on a conversation with Lula, however.
