The presidential pre-candidate for , , stated this Monday (1st) that Silvia Abravenal (PSD), one of Silvio Santos’ daughters, is a “strong name” to form his eventual ticket in the presidential race.
The former governor of Goiás, however, stated that definitions regarding the position should happen later, and a meeting is scheduled for next week to discuss the topic.
“Without a doubt, she is a strong name, a woman who has the ability to speak to millions of Brazilians, with a television program, and that makes her a federal deputy [que será] elected”, stated Caiado.
Silvia joined the PSD in March this year to run for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies. In a note released on her social networks on Monday night, she stated that she received the information about Caiado’s speech by surprise, who is starting her career in public life and remains focused on the pre-candidacy for federal deputy.
Regarding the possibility of the national president of the PSD, Gilberto Kassab, Caiado said that the leader is the main part of his pre-candidacy, but that other names are being considered and the decision should take place next month.
The governor of Goiás also stated that, in a meeting with (Novo) last week, he did not discuss being. Caiado said he spoke with Zema about keeping the right united in the first round, with a “peaceful and harmonious degree of coexistence” between Lula’s candidate opponents.
