Rui Pedro Reis was at the international presentation of the KIA EV3, which took place in Cascais. Pedro Amante tested the new Audi A6 Avant e-tron in Tenerife and the Abarth 600e Scorpionissima in Balocco, Italy.
Audi lives in times of change. Bet on electrification, but without giving up combustion engines. He changed the nomenclature and now odd numbers are for cars with combustion engines and even numbers are reserved for 100% electric cars. The new Audi A6 e-tron is exclusively electric, but maintains two body styles, Sportback and Avant. The first dynamic tests took place on the island of Tenerife.
It was with the KIA EV9 that we learned about the South Korean brand’s new design language. Now the EV3 arrives. It’s also 100% electric, but it’s kind of a shrunken KIA EV9. Very useful for Portuguese roads. Perhaps that’s why the brand chose the Cascais region to make the international presentation of the new model.
After many hours of testing on the track, in order to maximize performance and increase reliability, the new Abarth 600e finally arrives, nothing less than the most powerful Abarth of all time. Pedro Amante drove it on the Balocco test track, in Italy.
