Randolfe Rodrigues states that Planalto will make “every possible and impossible effort” to pay by December 31st
The leader of the Government in Congress, senator (PT-AP), stated this Tuesday (Dec 10, 2024) that the Palácio do Planalto has already resumed releasing congressmen’s amendments.
“They have already started to be released. Perhaps it is not being released at the appropriate speed. We already have a balance of several States that have already received payment”said the senator.
He argues that the resources were blocked for reasons “extraneous to the will of the government”.
Also said “The government will make every possible and impossible effort to pay by the 31st [de dezembro]”.
Randolfe said he believes it is possible to vote on the spending cuts package in 2024. He cited two other priorities: the LDO (Budget Guidelines Law) and tax reform.

COST CUTTING PACKAGE
