The youngest daughter of the Kings of Spain, Sofia, is already in Lisbon to start the Political Science and International Relations course at ForWard College, located in Chiado. At 18, the infanta prepares for university life, reconciling academic demands with the reality of living outside her country, in a more relaxed and urban environment, albeit with the proper restrictions of her status.
According to the Flash News Portal, Sofia will be installed at a student residence in Benfica, paying about 700 euros monthly income. The space works in semi -open regime, which represents a new challenge for the security of the royal family. The choice was thoughtful, but the idea of allowing the young woman to be a university experience similar to that of colleagues.
Safety reinforced in Lisbon
According to the same source, on the day of his official presentation at the educational institution, Sofia was accompanied by about 10 security guards, most of them Spanish, coming directly from Madrid. It is not known if this number will be maintained or adjusted over time, depending on the adaptation of infanta to routine in Portugal.
