The Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) approved this Wednesday (11) the tax reform report. The senators will also analyze amendments highlighted by the benches, with suggestions for changes to the opinion. The text will be considered tomorrow, Thursday (12) in plenary, as at the end of the session the urgency regime for the matter was approved. The CCJ will now vote on the amendment presented by which advocates the removal of the Selective Tax on weapons and ammunition, established by the rapporteur (MDB-AM), which made a series of changes to the text approved by deputies in June. Voting at the CCJ began around 3pm and the results were finalized only after 9pm. In total there were 39 speakers, which made the session long. Some deputies, such as Izalci Lucas (PL-DF), Eduardo Girão (Novo-CE), Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), Marcos Rogério (PL-RO), Hamilton Mourão (Republicanos-RS), Magno Malta (PL-ES ), Eduardo Gomes (PL-TO) and Jorge Seif (PL-SC). Rogério Marinho (PL-RN) were against approval. They were not present at the time of the vote, but registered their opposition to the decision.
