Pacheco said that, if necessary, there could be a session on Friday (20) to approve the package
The president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), said he sees it as possible for the National Congress to approve tax measures before the end-of-year recess, which begins in just over a week.
In an interview with journalists in the Senate, Pacheco also said that the last session of Congress in 2024 is scheduled for next Thursday, but, if necessary, it is possible that there will be a session on Friday.
