What about stress? Even dogs can experience nervousness or anxiety. During thunderstorms, fireworks, or other loud situations, they sometimes try to calm down by staring at something. Noise and chaos are definitely not things they like. They are very sensitive to any changes in their environment and their strange behavior may be a reaction to something that doesn’t feel safe or familiar to them.
