After nine months of approval in the , the project that creates the “Pix Pensão” entered the agenda of the Constitution and Justice Commission and was approved by the senators this Wednesday (10).
The text allows the beneficiary of the alimony to ask the Court for the automatic transfer of the amount from the payer’s account.
Today, the pension can be automatically debited from the debtor’s salary, but if he does not have a formal employment relationship, the beneficiary will be charged whenever there is a delay.
The project is authored by deputy Tábata Amaral (-SP) and is being reported by senator Ana Paula Lobato (PSB-MA).
The text should not face resistance from the majority of senators, it is so that the project can be voted on as quickly as possible in the House plenary. Deputies and senators demand that the matter be analyzed before the recess.
The definition only occurs, however, after an agreement between the majority of parties and the president of the House, (União-AP).
