Acreanos shine and are in the top 10 of the Brazilian under-19 beach volleyball championship

The pair of athletes from Acre Adrian Victor and Brunno Thadeu won the closing of the under-19 Brazilian Beach Volleyball Circuit, held last Sunday (15), in the city of Saquarema, in Rio de Janeiro.

The team from Acre reached the top 10 of the competition after beating Helder and Thierry, from Paraíba, in the fight for 9th to 13th place. The pair representing the state of Acre won the upset, by two sets to one, with scores of 18 x 21, 21 x 12 and 15 x 13.

The team from Acre reached the round of 16, when they were defeated by the pair Pamplona and Thiago, from Espírito Santo, by two sets to zero. Alongside the Acreians, pairs from Alagoas, São Paulo and Sergipe also came in ninth place.

The record of Adrian Victor and Brunno Thadeu leaves the competition with three wins and two losses, totaling six wins in sets and five losses.
