Steyr – Two entrepreneurs were sentenced on Monday at the Steyr Regional Court to six months’ conditional imprisonment and partial fines of 180 or 120 daily rates for violations of the Medicines Act and for grossly negligent grievous bodily harm. One of the companies was also sentenced – to a conditional fine. The defendants are said to have delivered fake weight loss syringes to a doctor. The judgment is not final.
