Striker Agustín Canobbio has a deal underway with Milan, in Italy. According to Uruguayan journalist Wilson Méndez, the negotiation had a positive outcome this Saturday (21/12).
The journalist announced that Athletico Paranaense should receive around R$25 million for 90% of the player’s rights. In 2022, Canobbio was the most expensive signing in Furacão’s history, costing R$15.2 million and had a contract until December 2026.
The right-winger’s departure was seen as inevitable after Athletico’s relegation to Series B in 2025. In addition to him, other names are unlikely to remain at Furacão in 2025, such as defender Gamarra, left-back Esquivel, midfielder Zapelli and the strikers Cuello and Mastriani.
